🚶 Walk Assist

The Engwe Engine Pro 3.0 Boost does not include walk-assist. In other words, there’s no motor-driven low-speed push mode to help you guide the bike on foot. Walk-assist is a fairly common convenience on many e-bikes, but here it’s simply absent.

What that means in day-to-day use is that anytime you need to push the Engine Pro 3.0 Boost—up a steep driveway, through a crowded sidewalk, or into storage—you’ll rely entirely on your own strength. There’s no extra torque at walking pace to lighten the load, so maneuvers that might otherwise feel effortless will require more effort.

This omission mainly matters to riders who frequently walk their bikes rather than ride—urban commuters squeezing through tight spaces, shoppers loading cargo, or anyone moving the bike indoors. If you spend almost all your time in the saddle and rarely walk the bike, you may hardly notice the lack of walk-assist.
