Riders can still expect smooth, steady assistance, but steep inclines will require a bit more physical effort or a reduced speed compared to bikes with stronger motors.

When you compare 70 Nm to the average 93 Nm, you’re looking at roughly 25 percent less peak torque. On a 10 percent gradient, for instance, a bike with 93 Nm might allow you to cruise at 20 km/h with moderate pedaling, whereas the U4 might slow to 15–18 km/h under the same effort. For urban commuting on flat-to-rolling terrain, this difference is often unnoticeable—especially if you don’t frequently tackle long, steep climbs.
