Electric bikes rely on torque—a measure of rotational force—to help you accelerate from a standstill, climb hills, and haul weight. The Touroll J2 delivers 45 Nm of torque at its peak, which is well below the 93 Nm average for its category. In practical terms, you’ll feel a gentler push when you twist the throttle or start pedaling, especially under load.

Because the J2’s 45 Nm falls roughly 48 Nm short of the typical 93 Nm benchmark, it won’t sprint up steep inclines or carry heavy cargo as vigorously as higher-torque models. On flat or mildly rolling terrain and with moderate rider weight, the difference may be barely noticeable.
