Front travel really matters depending on your intended use. If you’re mostly cruising city streets, rail trails or well-groomed gravel routes, the 50 mm fork offers a nice balance of cushioning and efficiency. But if your rides regularly feature root-strewn singletrack, steep descents or technical terrain, you’d likely benefit from a bike with closer to the 69 mm category average (or more) to maintain comfort and control.
