Press the power button to turn on the scooter, then hold your NFC key near the smart central display to activate it.
If your key or NFC device is lost, the e-scooter cannot be started. HALO KNIGHT does not offer standalone replacements, so you must replace the complete meter or switch assembly.
Set your 11-inch pneumatic road tires to 3.4 bar (50 PSI) as specified in the user manual.
Pull down the red safety latch from its slot, press the silver folding lever downward while supporting the handlebar stem, and fold the stem toward the deck until fully collapsed.
Press the silver folding lever downward while pushing the handlebar stem forward, then continue pushing until the scooter is fully unfolded.
Loosen the vertical bar buckle, press the yellow ball catch with your thumb to unlock it, slide the bar to the desired hole until the catch re-engages, and then tighten the buckle without over-tightening.
Do not ride the scooter below –10 °C or above 40 °C, and only charge the battery when ambient temperatures are between 0 °C and 40 °C.
Although it has an IP54 rating, the e-scooter is not fully waterproof. Avoid riding in heavy rain or exposing electronics to water, as this may cause damage and void the warranty.
Maintain the recommended tire pressure, avoid frequent braking, strong headwinds, and heavy loads, and use dual-motor mode on long rides or when climbing slopes to prevent controller overheating.
