🛡️ Water Resistance

The Navee G5 carries an IPX5 water-resistance rating, meaning its electrical components are protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. In everyday terms, you can confidently ride through light rain or over damp city streets without worrying that a sudden drizzle will short out the system. It also means you can rinse off mud splashes or road grime with a gentle spray when cleaning your scooter.

While IPX5 helps guard against puddle splashes and wet roads, it does not make the G5 fully waterproof. You should still avoid deep puddles, standing water that submerges the deck or motor, and high-pressure water sources such as power washers. Extended exposure to very heavy downpours or deliberate submersion will exceed the IPX5 protection and could lead to damage.

This level of water resistance is ideal for urban commuters and casual riders who face unpredictable weather but stick mostly to paved streets and light rain showers. If your route involves frequent water crossings, off-road mud tracks, or very wet climates, you may want to take extra precautions—such as covering sensitive parts—or consider a scooter with a higher waterproof rating.
