From the ManualXiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Max

When the scooter starts moving, place both feet on the deck and gently press the accelerator. The accelerator only works once your speed exceeds the starting speed and will not work when the scooter is stopped.

Open the Xiaomi Home app and choose a starting speed of 3, 4, or 5 km/h in the scooter settings.

The scooter offers Walking mode (max ~6 km/h with taillight on), Standard mode (max ~15 km/h) and Sport mode (max ~20 km/h, recommended after mastering riding skills).

Check the tire pressure every month and inflate to the recommended 45–50 psi to prolong tire life and prevent blowouts.

Wipe stains with a damp cloth and use toothpaste and a toothbrush for stubborn marks; never use alcohol, gasoline, corrosive solvents or high-pressure sprays. Turn off the scooter, unplug the charger, close the rubber flap and store it indoors in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Stop riding immediately, check the tightness of all bolts (wheel axles, folding mechanism, steering system and brake shaft), and contact a professional or authorized repairer for support.

Deploy the kickstand on an even, stable surface with the stand against a slope (not front-downhill), verify stability, and lock the rear wheel with a padlock to prevent inappropriate use.

Always wear a helmet, elbow pads and knee pads to protect yourself in case of a fall or collision.

Use only the specified charger (NBW54D601D3D or HBCPJ01XBD) indoors in dry conditions. Connect until the charger LED turns green, disconnect, then close the rubber flap; never charge if the port, adapter or outlet is wet and never use non-original chargers or batteries.

If your scooter is under manufacturer guarantee, contact an authorized repairer listed by Xiaomi via www.mi.com. If it’s out of guarantee, you may use any specialized repairer of your choice.

Turn on the headlight before riding at night and reduce your speed so you can see and be seen clearly by others.

Do not accelerate when descending; apply the brakes in time to slow down, and if the slope is too steep, step off and push the scooter instead of riding.
