The Segway C2 Pro carries an IPX4 rating for water resistance. In practical terms, this means the scooter can handle splashes and light sprays of water from any direction—think brief rain showers, road spray from passing cars, or scattered puddles. It is not designed for heavy downpours, driving through deep puddles, or full submersion.

With IPX4 protection, everyday wet-weather nuisances won’t immediately threaten the scooter’s electrical components. You can roll out when clouds appear, or ride home down damp streets without worrying that a few minutes in the rain will lead to sudden failures. Still, prolonged exposure to heavy rain or deliberately rinsing the scooter off in strong jets of water could let moisture into sensitive areas.

This level of splash resistance is especially useful for urban commuters who face unpredictable showers or slippery roads. Riders who only need peace of mind against occasional drizzles or street spray will find IPX4 more than adequate. Those who frequently encounter torrential downpours, road flooding, or need to clean their scooter with a pressure washer should seek additional covers, higher-rated enclosures or dry-storage solutions.
